Welcome to ‘I Rise’ campaign

‘I rise’ is a campaign aimed at articulating the circumstances and educational needs of children with disability and additional needs, who are voiceless, faceless and disadvantaged. It aims to pursue this by promoting dialogue in the society in order to foster equal education opportunities for children with special and additional needs.

It is anchored on five core objectives: National disability census, basic capacity in all non-selective mainstream schools to accommodate children with needs, compulsory educational psychologist evaluation before internal exclusion/isolation of a child with need, right of handicapped/vulnerable children to a ‘3rd eye/ear’.

The campaign intends to pursue these objectives in the next ten years, as its ‘Vision 2030’.
